“Heritage Heights means to me the Highest in Health care it is my Heritage”
My name is Eileen Doherty; I’m going to be 83 this month. When I came to Heritage Heights, I was full of fears and frustration “The year of the unknown”.
I am very content living here; I can come and go as I please. Meanwhile available to me is exercise 3 times a week, personal care, assistance with showers, Crafts, visits by friendly dogs and cats, live music to entertain us all. I know I am loved and accepted here.
Since living here my mental and physical state have improved, my anxiety attacks have lessened when they do happen now, I am held in warm and tender arms this eases my fears.
I am a poet and artist all the staff here encourage me to continue my passion that I have had my whole life. They have even given me my own wall to display all my work.
I will recommend Heritage Heights to anyone if they want their loved ones safe and in the hands of Professional caring individuals.

“It is so comforting to be taken care of so well”
I have been living at Heritage Heights for 2 years almost to the day. I’ve never been treated so good, I have always had to look after others my whole life and now being the one looked after with such great care makes me so grateful and I’m quite surprised at the care I receive coming into a retirement home as making the decision was difficult.
I love my room it is very spacious and bright, all the workers are excellent they are always smiling and courteous and help in anyway whether it be with my medication or simply bringing me fresh towels and cleaning my room daily.
Mealtimes are very pleasant the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The food is always home made just like mum use to make. The location is perfect you have the feeling of a country setting situated on a golf course, yet you are close to everything in the city.
It is so comforting to be taken care of so well in my retirement years and in a place I call home.

“I would recommend Heritage Heights retirement living to anyone.”
For approximately 2 ½ years I have lived at the Heritage Heights Retirement Home. Making the transition from a private home to assisted living facilities wasn’t easy, but once I realized I could not live alone, Heritage Heights offered everything I needed.
Pleasant helpful staff, and nice accommodations. Optional daily activities are offered free of charge, as are nursing services. During my residency here at Heritage Heights I have made many friends. Actually, the whole atmosphere is like living with a larger family!

“There are lots of activities and entertainment to keep busy!”
I have lived at Heritage Heights assisted living facilities in Cornwall since December 2013. At that time I was dealing with some health issues that made me feel it was time to move into a retirement home where there was 24 hour nursing care and a doctor that visits regularly. Since my move my health has improved immensely, I take part in the restorative care program that is offered and the nursing care gives me peace of mind. I no longer have to deal with my own prescriptions if there are any changes, the nursing staff take care of everything.
There are lots of activities and entertainment to keep busy. The rooms are spacious and kept clean, I was able to bring my own furniture that made it feel just like home. I have a large patio door that overlooks the natural landscape with plenty of wildlife right outside my door. Moving in was certainly the right choice for me with no regrets at all. It is my home away from home.
